From FCO Airport To Your Home in Rome

THE EASIEST AND CHEAPEST WAY IS BY BUS AND SUBWAY

Find the way to Bus Station:
After custom control walk outside the Terminal, turn to the right, and keep on walking will find a Bus Parking Area.

Which Bus to Take:
There are many Bus companies that operate between FCO Airport and Termini Station, which is our largest Train Station in Rome.
Most of them charge 6,00 Euro per person.
The cheapest one, which we recommend you, is COTRAL, a Public Bus Company, that cost 5,00 Euro.
It departs every 30 minutes from platform n° 6, the one with SCHIFFINI board.

Where to Buy the Tickets:
The bus tickets for COTRAL are sold by Bus Driver upon Bus Arrival.
If you prefer to take other Buses (Terranova or Others), tickets are sold in front of bus stops by ticket agents.

Upon arrival at Termini Station:
Enter the Station and look for M (Metro) board, which is on underground level.

Where to Buy the Metro Tickets:
Metro Tickets are sold from ticket dispensers and cost 1,50 Euro ow.
You have to push the BIT Button, insert money (the machine gives change) and collect the ticket.

Which Metro to take:
To come to Your Home in Rome you have to take Metro B1 bound to CONCA D'ORO station.
Upon arrival to the correct platform, make sure you take the train which has CONCA D'ORO sign on it otherwise you will end up somewhere else.

How long does it take:
12 Minutes
From Termini the train stop at: Castro Pretorio, Policlinico, Bologna, Annibaliano, Libya and Conca d'Oro which is the final stop.

                                                     IF YOU PREFER THE TRAIN
Find the way to the Train Station:
After custom control, as soon as you exit the arrival lobby, turn to the left, walk for about 15 meters and take the elevator to the second floor.
Exit from the elevator, turn on the left and walk for about 50 meters to next junction. There turn on your right and keep on walking until next junction where, on your left side, you will find the Railway Station’s lobby.

Where to Buy the Tickets:
The train tickets are sold at the railway’s ticket office or at the news-stand next to it.
The news-stand is open from 7 AM until 9 o’clock at night and usually there is no queue.
The FM train ticket costs 8,00 Euro and is valid for the train ride only.
If you arrive early in the morning and want to take the first train at 6:57 or later than 10 at night you can purchase the ticket directly on board the train at no extra charge.
Just for your information the ticket for the Leonardo Express train costs 14.00 Euro.

Which Train to Take:
There are 2 different type of trains going to Rome:
The FM train (the one you will have to take) leaves every 15 minutes from 06:57 until 20:27.

In case you take a late arriving flight or if you will not be able to take a train before 20:27, next trains leave every 30 minutes.

This trains always leave from platform 1 or 3, please do not worry about final destination because they all arrive at our place.

On the way to our apartment the train stops at:

Parco Leonardo / Fiera di Roma / Ponte Galeria / Muratella / Magliana / Villa Bonelli / Trastevere / Ostiense / Tuscolana / Tiburtina and Nomentana where you have to get off.

The trains stops at each station for about 1 minute and the time of ride between each station is about 5 minutes.
From the airport it takes about 50 minutes to reach Nomentana Station.

Upon arrival at Nomentana Station you can either walk for about 1 Km or take Bus n° 38 / 80 / 80B / 86 from Viale Libya Road.

By Taxi:
In Rome all TAXI cars are white, have the Taxi Meter and carry a TAXI sign on top of the car.
The TAXI meter starts at 4.90 Euro and, upon arrival, you will have to add 6,00 Euro to what is shown on the meter.
The fixed cost from Fiumicino Airport to Rome downtown is 50 Euro plus 1 Euro for each suitcase.
Please DO NOT take any TAXI offered you in the arrival lobby: these are UNAUTHORIZED drivers that always cheat the clients by charging VERY EXPENSIVE fares.

By Limousine Car:
If you wish we can book you a private, safe, chauffer driven car that cost 50,00 Euro, net.
You do not need to pay anything to the driver, unless you want to leave a tip.
