Natale di Roma - Rome's Birthday

Today is the 2767th anniversary of the foundation of Rome.

Until May 4th the road between Coliseum and Piazza Venezia will be closed to traffic.

This year in the Forum of Augustus, celebrating the 2.000 anniversary of the death of the founder of the Empire (August 19, 14 AD), every night until October 21st there will be a multi media presentation to show a great historical reconstruction of the Forum.
